Lois Jan Bunin

Lois Jan Bunin, age 92, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at The Villa at West Branch. She had lived in West Branch since April 9, 2017, formerly of California and Hawaii. She was born on February 11, 1925 to Louis and Dorothy (Yeager) Sideman in San Francisco, CA. Lois was active with politics when she lived in Hawaii, where she worked in a government office. When she lived in California, Lois was very involved with projects and activities with the Oakland Raiders as the team mother. She enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by her children, Lynne (Perry) Goldy of West Branch, MI and Jerry (Mary Shaffer) Bunin of Oceano, CA; grandchildren, Terri (David) Jones, Julie (Mike) Hart and Melinda (Pat) Laurie; great grandchildren, Jessica (Ken) Laming, Jenna Jones, Josie (Richie Schizas) Wiltse-Schizas, Alex Jones, Evan Smith, Jason Wiltse and Jeremiah Barth; great great grandchildren, Brayden Killinger, Wyatt Killinger, Keegan Laming and Nicholas Laming. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
