Loraine Ann Bell, age 83, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at The Villa at West Branch. She lived in West Branch since 1966, formerly of Bay City. Loraine was born on November 20, 1936 in Bay City to Neil and Helen (Olesky) Smith. She married William Bell on June 25, 1966 in Bay City. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and selling antiques.

Loraine is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William E. Bell of West Branch; children, Karen Swaty of West Branch, Christopher (Thomas Manning) Hilborn of CA, Kathy (Sandy) Hay of Midland, Loress (Bob) Pausits of FL, Crystal Hilborn of West Branch, Cindy (Randy) Skowronek of West Branch, and Scott Bell of West Branch; grandchildren, Tabitha, Andy, Jackie, Joellyn, Christopher, Amanda, Lee, Stephanie and Saja; 12 great grandchildren; and sister Carol Axtell of AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents and first born son, Steven Hilborn.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate.
