Lorna L. Becker

Lorna Leora Becker, age 81, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. She was born October 23, 1924 in Jonesville, Michigan to Tom and Arvilla Pillsbury. She married Raymond Kenneth Bills on November 23, 1943. After his death, she married Emil Becker on March 19, 1971. She attended the West Branch Church of God and she loved fishing and playing bingo. Mrs. Becker is survived by her 8 children, Raymond (Lynn) Bills, Sandra Rowland and Tom Bills all of West Branch, Maxine (William) Walt and Brian Bills both of Flint, Martha (Carl) Beek of Mio, Gary Bills of Prudenville and Karen Courtney of Lincoln Park. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and her sisters, May Bachman and Marian Mihalic and her brother, James Pillsbury. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, her daughter Katherine Bills, great-grandson, Carl Beek, sisters, Clara Dosch and Sarah Mihalic and her brother, Robert Pillsbury. Thank you to all of her fellow bingo players and those she fished with. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, March 26, 2006 from 4-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2006 at the funeral home. Pastor Keith Misany will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the West Branch Church of God.
