Madelene Winter

Madelene Winter, age 90, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. She was born to Thomas and Jessie (Moore) Ramsey in Elktone, MI on November 19, 1925. Madelene was a member of the Heart of FL Lady Anglers, Gals & Guys Bass Club of Polk County, and the bowling league at Cypress Lanes.

Madelene is survived by her children, Marion (Bill) Walsh of Traverse City, MI, Rebecca Winter-Mathewson of West Branch, MI, and Nancy (Ricky) Clark of Auburndale, FL; 7 grandchildren, Kathy Deron, Stacy Coleman, Andrea Dowsett, Michael Ray and Thomas Jon Mathewson, Misty Rae (Daniel) Burns, Aaron (Angela) Clark. 9 great grandchildren, Romen & Zarek Deron, Raphael & Makhi Dowsett, Zenith Deans, Marley Michael & Colin Jon Mathewson, Emma Rae & Dylan Scott Burns; and sister Joyce (Leon) Winter. She is preceded in death by husband, Raymond John Winter and son, Dale Lee Winter.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Homes in West Branch, MI will begin on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate.
