Marcia Grace Smith

Marcia Grace Smith, age 77, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at The Villa at West Branch. She was born on October 14, 1941 in Lansing to George and Bernice (Clark) Keel. She had lived in West Branch since 1972, formerly of Lansing. Marcia married Vernon Smith in Lansing on June 19, 1965. Marcia was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Optimist Club, Moose Lodge, Questors and a Regional Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child. She enjoyed crafts and singing in the church choir.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Vernon Smith of West Branch; children, Kevin (Debbie) Smith of Barryton, Michael (LeAnne) Smith of Pinckney, Douglas Smith of West Branch, and Cheryl (Kevin) McFarland of West Branch; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; and brothers, Jim and Dennis Keel. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Teresa Pike, and sisters, Georgia McIntyre, Marilyn Irvin and Linda Hammond.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in West Branch at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Tim Dibble will officiate.
