Marjorie Jean Warle

Marjorie Warle, age 91, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at The Brook in West Branch, MI. Marjorie has lived in West Branch since 2010, formerly of Prescott, MI. She was born to Edward and Hannah Lewis on July 19, 1923 in Ashland, WI. On September 14, 1985, she married Harvey Warle at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Flint, MI. She was a Veteran of the US Army serving during WWII as a Sergeant in the Army Medics. Marjorie was a member and very involved with the First Presbyterian Church of Maple Ridge in Twining, MI where she played the organ for many years. Marjorie was the President of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Skidway Lake. She was a caller for Bingo, an avid card player, enjoyed golfing, flowers, and gardening. She was a wonderful mom and step mom, and a very, very loving grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Marjorie is survived by her sons: Russ (Patty) Jenkins of Skidway Lake, MI, Randy (Kitty Menosky) Jenkins of Flint, MI; step daughters: Darylee (Sam) Coplin of Davison, MI, Elise Anderson of Olympia, WA, and Brenda Beatty of Youngtown, AZ; step daughter-in-law: Carol Warle of Flint, MI; grandchildren: Eric Jenkins, Amanda (Tony) Clark, Adam (Kristen) Jenkins, Todd Anderson, Rhonda (Britton Harris) Golden, Nathan Coplin, Jennifer Crandell, Doug Warle, Shannon (Edwin) Garcia, Andrea (Lance Butler) Warle, Hannah (Richie) Perez, Kimberly Peters, Karen (Kevin) Holcomb, and Krystle Curtiss; great grandchildren: Gavin, Gabriele, Logan, Brooklyn, Skyler, Zachary, Riley, Kaitlyn, Naomi, Nathan; and 7 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, James William Jenkins, second husband of 28 years, Harvey Warle, sons, Rob and Rick Floyd, step sons, Clifford and Bill Warle, sister, Shirley Boa, and brother, Robert Lewis.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 3 p.m. Pastor Kathleen Rowe will officiate.

Memorial Contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Maple Ridge.

The family expresses appreciation to The Brook staff and to Hospice Advantage for their dedicated love and care.
