Marjorie M. Wirges

Marjorie M. Wirges, age 86, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch, MI. She had been a resident of West Branch for many years. Marjorie was born to Harvey and Evelyn (Palm) Wirges on May 17, 1928 in Flint, MI.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Parna Hopkins; grandsons: Kevyn and Kory; brother in law: Jim Rourke of West Branch; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Betty Rourke.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.

A special ‘Thank You’ to the staff at Bortz Health Care in West Branch for their wonderful care and compassion to Marjorie.
