Martin F. Clark

Martin Clark, dearest husband of Lois for 65 years, left to go ahead on Wednesday July 20, 2011, at age 86. Martin and Lois lived at Lake Ogemaw for the past 27 years. Marty served in WWII as a U.S. Navy Seabee and retired from Detroit Edison after 39 years. He was a member of the Men’s Golf League at Edgewood Greens and a member of the American Legion of Skidway Lake. Marty is survived by his wife Lois, children, Linda (Bill) Liedel, Randy (Beth) Clark, David (Pat) Clark and Carol (Tom) Blackburn, 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Marty dearly loved his family and taught them all to play Euchre. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Helping Hands or given to the family for a memorial bench in memory of Martin. Visitation for Martin will be held Friday July 22, 2011 from 3-9 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The funeral service will be held Saturday July 23, 2011 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Lisa Cook will officiate.
