Mary Carol Barrett

Mary Carol Barrett, age 75, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital Troy. She lived in Almont, MI, formerly of the Utica and Sterling Heights area.

Mary was born on April 26, 1946 in Nashville, TN to Finley and Margaret (Rau) Dorris Jr.

She loved shopping, garage sales, and spending time with her grandchildren. She lived for her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.

Mary is survived by her son, Jason Barrett; daughter, Michelle (William Jr.) Westlake; grandchildren, Caitlin, Brandon, and Luke Westlake; sister, Nancy (Patrick) Doan; brother, John Dorris; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas, and sister, Ruth (Carl) Ritz.

A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Branch, MI on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
