Mary Celeste Obey

Mary Obey, age 50, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 encompassed by the love of family and friends. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and sister with a kind heart and amazing sense of humor that brightened the life of everyone she encountered.

Mary loved the outdoors and spent her free time out fishing on the boat or sitting and cooking around the fire. Her bonfire turkeys were legendary. Mary was a doting grandmother, loyal friend, and an avid Lions fan.

Mary is survived in life by her husband, Ron; brothers, Bob, Paul (Gerry), John (Linda), Jim (Lisa), Tom, and Mike (Julie); sisters, Chrissy (Ralph) and Donna (Rick); children, Raymond (Bonnie), Jennifer (Chris), and Tina (Matt); and 9 grandchildren, Scott, Jack, Tristan, Chris, Jordyn, Cadence, Alyssa, TJ, and Amelia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Fran.

Per her wishes, no formal service will be held.
