Mary Ida Jackson

Mary Ida Jackson, Age 92, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at MyMichigan Hospital in Midland, MI. She was born in Rockbridge, OH on December 17, 1929 to Stacey and Lena Irene (Pickens) Poling. She moved to West Branch with her family in 1942.

Along with raising her 5 children, she was active in the Episcopal Church and volunteered at the library. Reading was her passion along with her flower gardens. She worked at Honkers until her retirement.

Mary is survived by her five children, Stacia Jackson of West Branch, Henry (Teresa) Jackson of Parkersburg, WV, John (Kathy) Jackson of Hale, SueAnn (Clarence) Murray of West Branch, and Bill (Betty) Jackson of Ashville, NC; grandchildren, Mike (Angie) Jackson, Sean (Chrissy) Jackson, Mike (Lori) Woodruff, Rob (Jennifer) Woodruff, Nick (Jessica) Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Davey (Bree) Miller, and Sarah (JJ) Jackson; and 13 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John T. “Teddy Bear” Jackson, granddaughter Chris Jackson, and grandson Christian Runions.

A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church in West Branch on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m.
