Mary Louise Parker

Mary Louise Parker, age 53, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her home in Rose City, MI with her loving family by her side. She had lived in Rose City since 2009, formerly of Flint Township, MI. Lou Lou was born on July 13, 1963 in Flint, MI to Gordon Parker and Sharron (Budd-Parker) Ibbotson. She enjoyed collecting stamps, pictures, and going to God Treasures Camp every summer. Lou Lou received many medals and ribbons with the Special Olympics. She attended Dimond United Methodist Church in Flint Twp, First United Methodist Church in West Branch, MI and Trinity United Methodist Church in Rose City where she enjoyed gospel music.

Lou Lou is survived by her mother, Sharron Ibbotson of Rose City, MI; father, Gordon Parker of St. Helen, MI; sister, Theresa (Ken) Snider of Rose City, MI; step brother, Tim (Michelle) Libbey of St. Helen, MI; nephew, Jerry (Stephanie) Chandler of Mio, MI; nieces; Amber (Jason) Graves of Grand Blanc, MI, Lindsey Snider of Burton, MI and Heaven (Brandon) Ehlers of Sterling, MI; 5 great nephews and 3 great nieces; many uncles, aunts, and cousins; special friends: Holly, Debbie, Christie and Joe Moore, Kim and John Brown, Lee O’Connor and the Berlanga Family; and god children, Elizabeth and Joseph. She is preceded in death by her step mother, Linda Parker; grandparents; god parents; beloved companion, Regis; and friend, Claudia Edward.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City, MI will begin on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose City Cemetery. Pastor Nate Jeffords and Elder Chester Slagor will officiate.
