Matthew L. Dematio

Matthew L. DeMatio, age 20 of West Branch, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010. He lived in West Branch for all of his life. Matt enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing guitar, mudding, Harleys, snowboards, acting and detailing cars. Matt is survived by his father, Mike DeMatio of West Branch, his mother, Tonia DeMatio (Daniel Slater) of Sebewaing, siblings, Heather (Paul) MacDonald and Michael DeMatio II (Jessica Osterland) both of West Branch and Vincent DeMatio (Gloria Boomer and her son Grant) of Pensacola, FL, his niece and nephew, Amy Sue Dijak and Thomas DeMatio both of West Branch, his grandmothers, Bonnie DeMatio of West Branch and Phyllis Brogger of Saginaw and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpas Robert DeMatio and Francis Brogger, and his aunt, Ann DeMatio. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Wednesday, Matt will lie in state at the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bob Mohr will officiate with burial following at Edwards Township Cemetery, West Branch.
