Melvin E. Haines

Melvin E. Haines, age 71, of West Branch, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. He had lived in West Branch since 1998, formerly of Pontiac. He was a member of Ausable Valley Mental Health. Melvin is survived by his siblings, Donna Herr and Nancy Hodges both of Waterford, Richard Haines and Gary Haines both of Pontiac, Darlene Beasley and John Haines both of Tampa, FL, Robert Haines and Judy Haines both of West Branch and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Spicer. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
