Michael Allen Loop

Michael Allen Loop, age 71, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI. He was born on April 18, 1951 in Pontiac, MI to Milo and Dorothy (Somerville) Loop.

On September 15, 1978 he married Monica Vosie in Clarkston, MI.

“Big Mike Dad” lived in St. Helen, MI for the past 15 years, formerly of Holly, MI. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles both in Holly. Big Mike Dad enjoyed music, playing the guitar and singing, riding motorcycles, spontaneous trips, and storytelling. He cherished every moment spent with his family.

“Big Mike Dad” is survived by his loving wife, Monica Loop of St. Helen; children, Stephine (Mark) Neuwirth of Pan Handle, TX, Michael (Lulah) Loop of Grand Blanc, MI, and Melissa (Chris Roman) Loop of Ortonville, MI; grandchildren, Alexis, Pryce, Tatum, Destiny, Sierra, and Leanna; brother, Tim (Joyce) Buell of Maryland; and sister, Edith Cadey of Michigan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara Ann, and brothers, Rex, Roger, Milo, and Victor Loop.

A get together of life will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Seven Lakes State Park in Holly, MI from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
