Mildred M. Armbruster

Mildred M. Armbruster, age 86, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008 at the Hilltop Manor in Roscommon, MI. Mildred was born November 25, 1921 to Alfred and Martha (nee Gaeth) Shairer in Sebewaing , MI . She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen, a member of the American Legion Ladies Aux. Post 416 and a past member of the St. Peters Lutheran Ladies Aid in Bach, MI. Some of her loves were BINGO, gardening, card playing and Polka dancing. She is survived by her 9 children: Alvin Armbruster of St. Helen, Timothy Armbruster of Lino Lakes, MN, Phyllis Morgan of Davison, Keith (Kay) Armbruster of Bay City, Nancy Armbruster of Spring, TX, Earl “Luke” Armbruster of Shainghi, China, Bruce Armbruster, Dean (Georgeanna) Armbruster of Newport News, VA, and Wesley (Kelly) Armbruster of Beaverton. 8 Grandchildren: Amy Armbruster, Nathan & Karin Armbruster, Larissa Armbruster, Justin & Danelle Morgan, Naythan and Zack Bowers. Also one brother, Roy ( Beverly ) Schairer of Bay City, and 2 sisters, Mable Gremel of Sebewaing and Dorothy Prich of Gagetown. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, brother Victor Schairer and sister Helen Ruse. Visitation for Mildred will be Thursday May 29, 2008 from 2:30-9 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen and Friday May 30, 2008 from 10-11 at Hope Lutheran Church prior to the service. The funeral will be held Friday May 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen. A committal service will be held immediately following the funeral at the church and a private interment will be held at the Northlawn Cemetery in Sebewaing. Pastor Rodney Morrison will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be given to Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen.
