Mildred "Millie" Thompson

Mildred “Millie” E. Thompson age 91 passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Brook in West Branch. Millie had been a resident of Lupton since 1970 previously of Warren. She was a member of the St. Pius Catholic Church in Hale, a member of the Ladies Aux of the VFW, she belonged to the Lupton Area Senior Center, and was a Gold Star Mother. She enjoyed her trips to the casino and loved to crochet and knit. Millie is survived by her children Larry (Jan) Thompson of Lupton, and Diane (Hubert) O’Neill of West Branch. There are 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one niece Barb Bader of Roseville. She is preceded in death by her husband Steward, and a son Neil. Funeral services will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be two hours prior from 11:30–1:30. Deacon Glen Painter will be officiating with burial at Lane Heights cemetery in Lupton. Memorial Contributions can be made to Hospice of Helping Hands in memory of Millie.
