Narcisse "Nick" Lacoursiere

Narcisse “Nick” Lacoursiere, age 84, passed away April 13, 2019 in Shelby Twp, Michigan. He has lived in West Branch for over 20 years, previously of Warren, Michigan. Nick was born in Detroit, Michigan to Henry and Elsie (Brightmore) Lacoursiere on November 30th, 1934. He served in the United States Army as a tank commander and a cook. One of his many accomplishments he was proud of was receiving the Good Conduct Metal. Nick was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch, Michigan and enjoyed woodworking, and spending time with his family.

Nick is survived by his son Paul Lacoursiere (Krista) of Macomb Twp, Michigan, his daughter Lisa Skierski (Ray) of Shelby Twp Michigan, his grandson Paul Narcisse Lacoursiere , and several nieces and nephews. Nick was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marlene Lacoursiere, daughter Marion Lacoursiere, and brother Omer Lacoursiere.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 4-8pm at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. A rosary will be said Friday evening at 5:00pm. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00am at the Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch. Deacon Glen Painter will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Heartland Hospice.
