Norma Gene Williamson

Norma Gene Williamson, age 83, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at her home in Lupton, MI surrounded by her family. She was born on June 19, 1938 in Harlon County, KY to Garrett and Viola (Dixon) Tyra Jr.

Norma lived in Lupton since 1993 formerly of Taylor, MI. She went to Lincoln Park High School. She loved spending time with her family and furry little friends she fed every day, Lilly, Mouse, and Luna. Norma enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines, Little Debbie Cakes and 3 Musketeers. She was a very strong and hard-working woman.

Norma is survived by her children, Rhonda (Tony Boles) Williamson and Brandon (Charlotte) Williamson; grandchildren, Miranda (Kinsley Wilcox) Belmonte, Brianna (Michael) McDermott, Sky Switzer, Jayden Williamson, Lexi Williamson, Marcus Williamson, Gabe Williamson, Izaac Williamson; sister, Penny Tyra Cicotte; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, William Williamson, daughter, Robbin Williamson, son, William F. Williamson Jr., son, Christopher Williamson, grandson, Christopher Martin, and siblings, Steven Tyra, Patricia Montgomery, Garrett Tyra III, Okie Smith, and Charlotte Hudson.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Flat Rock, MI on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.
