Phillip Fredrick Fultz

Phillip Fredrick Fultz, age 81, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Medilodge in Sterling. He lived in West Branch since 1979, formerly of the Saginaw, Clare and Gladwin areas. He was born on January 1, 1938 in Comins to Fredrick and Dorothy (Margo) Fultz. Phillip married Linda Priddy on February 26, 2000 in West Branch. He served in the United States Army from September 2, 1959 to September 1, 1961. He played in the military band and played taps when he was younger and attending grade school. Phillip attended the Edwards Community Church and enjoyed elk and deer hunting, fishing and carpentry.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Linda Fultz of West Branch; daughter, Lisa (Cesar Ponciano) Fultz of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Maximilian, Owen, Mackenzie, Megan and Nick; step children, Malinda Baird-Gage of Jackson, TN, Chad (Amy) Clayton of West Branch and Carrie (Chris) Newcomb of Midlothian, VA; brothers, Keith (Gini) Fultz of Wolverine, Bruce (Jackie) Shrock of Sebring, FL and Larry (Shirley) Shrock of Saginaw; special childhood friend, Roma (Lynn) Galbraith of Mio; brothers in law, David (Carol) Curtis of West Branch and Ron (Marjorie) Cripps of Gladwin; sister in law, Jean Neubecker of West Branch; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joyce Neubecker Fultz in 1998.

Visitation at the Edwards Community Church will begin on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Pastor Jon Scott will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Edwards Community Church.
