Phyllis A. Riley

Phyllis A. Riley, age 65 of St. Helen, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Phyllis had lived in St. Helen since 1998, formerly of Ypsilanti. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, gardening, traveling, camping and she loved cooking. Phyllis is survived by her husband Bert Riley of St. Helen, her children, Harvey Riley (Edward Segovia) and Holly Riley both of Ypsilanti, grandson Joshua Riley and great-grandchildren, J.J. Riley and Xavier Riley. Also surviving is her father Chester Wilson of St. Helen, brothers Chester (Barb) Wilson of Dexter and Allen (Shari) Wilson of Rockford and her sisters Tammy (Rockie) Carter of Pleasureville, KY and Michelle (Mike) Doyle of Belleville. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Wilson, her sister, Janet Hall, grandmother Lizzie Ely and her uncle Boyd Wilson. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012 until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor John Moore and Allen Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
