Ralph I. Steinhauser

December 3, 1922 — June 30, 2003

Steinie passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in West Branch for all of his life. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a three time past Master and long time secretary of the West Branch Masonic Lodge #3776, a WWII Veteran, an Honorary Chairperson of the West Branch Smiley Days and a West Branch Ambassador. He is survived by his wife Betty of West Branch, sons--Steve (Judy) Steinhauser of West Branch, Scot (Katherine) Steinhauser of Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, 8 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, two sisters, Peggy Hamilton and Rose Marie (Dan) Pearsall both of West Branch. He was preceded in death by a daughter Darlene, a son Jefry and his brothers, Jennings and Paul. Friends may call at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Tuesday July 1, 2003 from 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 12-9 P.M. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in West Branch. Rev. Mark Miller will officate with burial following at Lane Heights Cemetery, Lupton. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Smiley Fund, the Diabetes Association or to the family.
