Ray J. "Bud" Sanback

September 12, 1917 — April 24, 2004

Mr. Sanback, age 86, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had been a resident of West Branch since 1988, formerly of Rose City. He was a WWII Veteran, who served in the European Theater. Mr. Sanback is survived by his daughters, Penny (Gene) Goodman of Prudenville and Pam (John) Clark of West Branch. Six grandchildren--Stacy, Mark, Celeste, Angel, Nicole and John and 16 great-grandchildren--Tyler, Connor, Evan, Ryan, Jennifer, Samatha, Wesley, Amanda, Blaire, Lindsay, Bryce, Megan, Jennifer Lynn, Chelsea, Jade and Riley and his extended family, Beth Morris and Brian Seltz. Also surviving are his brothers, Robert (Barb) Sanback of Rose City and Richard Sanback of Pensacola, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane and his sisters, Elinor Killackey and Jane Woodward. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Monday April 26, 2004 from 2-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Rev. Robert Cottle will officate with burial following at Rose City Cemetery.
