Raymond Harold Oatman

Raymond Harold Oatman, age 86, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. He was a longtime resident of St. Helen. Ray was born on June 18, 1934 in Clair Twp., St. Clair County, MI to Arthur and Joyce (Williams) Oatman. He served in the United States Army from 1957-1959. He was a member of the American Legion #416 and the VFW Post in St. Helen. Ray enjoyed snowmobiling, dune buggies, pontoon cruises, being outdoors, entertaining and spending time with friends. He loved cruises and loved living in St. Helen.

Ray is survived by his children, Kobi A. Rogers and Raymond “Butch” A. Oatman; grandchildren, Chelsea Oatman and Raymond “Hunter” H. Oatman; and best friend and ex-wife, Mable Oatman. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later time.
