Richard Dean Schmitt

Mr. Schmitt passed away at Bortz Health Care in West Branch after an extended illness. He had been a resident of West Branch for all of his life. He was a member of the K of C #2022, West Branch and Holy Family Catholic Church. Mr. Schmitt is survived by his brothers, Ronald (Joyce) Schmitt, Jerry (Janette) Schmitt and Robert (Gloria) Schmitt and sisters, Alice (Bob) Bragg, Betty (Charlie) Rau and Mary (Albert) Miles and a brother in law, Bernard DeRosa all of West Branch and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Aleen DeRosa. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held on Monday January 12, 2004 from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday January 13, 2004 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Klacking Creek. Fr. Miro D. Wiese will officiate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph School Endowment Fund or Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
