Richard Lee Mcmahon

Richard Lee McMahon, age 80 of St. Helen, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at his home. Richard was born March 25, 1932 in Pontiac, MI, the son of Orval and Eva McMahon. He had lived in St. Helen since 1985, formerly of Commerce Twp., MI. Richard enjoyed photography and hunting. Richard also served in the Air Force and retired from Ford Motor Company. Richard is survived by wife, Christine McMahon, daughter, Karen Day, grandchildren, Jeffrey (Seija) Lawrence, Jennifer Williams, Kyle Day, Dakota Giles, great-grandchildren, Maelyn Lawrence, Mira Lawrence, and Melea Lawrence. Also surviving are brothers, Chuck (Mary) McMahon, David (Karen) McMahon, sister, Patricia McMahon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Michael McMahon, daughters, Laura Lawrence and Dianna Giles, sister, Judy Kimball, mother, Eva McMahon, and father, Orval McMahon. Cremation has taken place per his wishes.
