Robert James Gratton

Robert James Gratton, age 51 of West Branch, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at his home. Robert was born on January 3, 1968 to Paul and Phyllis Gratton in Detroit, MI. He has lived in West Branch since 1984, formerly of East Detroit, MI. Robert married Peggy Jo Quigley on April 26, 1997 in West Branch. Robert enjoyed boating and camping. He took great pride in the work that he did and was always very proud of all his children.

Robert is survived by his wife, Peggy Gratton of West Branch, children; Nancy Jo (Matthew Wangler) Gratton of West Branch, Joshua Gratton of West Branch, Nathan Gratton of West Branch, grandchildren; Harper Jo and Gunner. Also surviving is sister, Debra Gratton of Macomb Twp., brother, Tom Gratton of Macomb Twp., brother, Don (Elaine) Gratton of Columbus Twp., brother-in-law, Matt (Katie) Quigley of West Branch, uncle, Raymond Gratton of Royal Oak, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 5-8 pm and Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 3-8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 am with visitation prior from 10:00 am until time of mass. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
