Ronald Eugene Mcdowell

Ronald Eugene McDowell, age 55, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at his home. Ron lived in Prescott, MI. He was born on October 22, 1964 in Revenna, OH to James and Virgie (Elswick) McDowell Jr. Ron was a U of M fan and an avid gamer. He was a great worker and able to fix anything from construction to engines. He was always willing to help or lend a hand when needed.

Ron is survived by his father, Rev. James McDowell Jr.; step mom, Nancy McDowell; siblings, Jeffrey (Paula) McDowell, Kenneth McDowell, Douglas (Maria) McDowell, Catherine (Neil) DeCaen, and Daniel McDowell; nieces and nephews, Thomas Mohlmaster, Patricia King, Joshua McDowell, James McDowell III, Douglas McDowell, Kaitlyn McDowell, Thaddaeus DeCaen, Snowy DeCaen, and Michael McDowell; aunt, Mary (Tommie) Nicholas; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virgie, brother, Robert McDowell and grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at God Covenant Church 203 N. Sherman St. Prescott, MI 48756. A Luncheon in his memory will follow at the church.
