Rondalee Sarah Lawrence, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at her home in West Branch, MI surrounded by her husband Charles Thomas "Tom" Lawrence, friends and neighbors. She was born on April 9, 1956 in Wyandotte, MI to John and Phyllis (McGorman) Zueski.

Rondalee met Tom 50 years ago when she was 15, while camping at Sterling State Park and it was love at first sight. Tom bought their wedding rings when they were 16, and they married on July 19, 1975 in Taylor, MI. She was a loving wife to her husband, a devoted mother and grandmother. Rondalee and Tom moved to West Branch in 1997. She enjoyed a variety of work throughout the years including waitressing, working at Kroger, she owned her own personal catering business & a cleaning business named "Every Nook and Cranny", she milked cows, she was a versatile woman and wore many hats. Rondalee was a cherished employee and thrived in each job she held. At home she always had a lovely and productive garden, thrived on caring for her various dogs, she was a talented artist who painted, drew and sketched. She loved to draw on the fish and game that she and Tom caught and froze, a plain piece of freezer wrap was always enhanced by her drawings. She spent time snowmobiling in winter with Tom, and was a small game hunter as well as an avid fisherman with her husband. Rondalee will be remembered for her smile, her friendly attitude and her warm personality as well as her sumptuous cooking. She will also be remembered for her lovely singing voice and exceptional whistling, as the animals would listen and respond to her sounds. She was a humanitarian without ever wanting credit for her good deeds, to anyone in need.
