Sarah P. Junk

Sarah P. Junk, age 94, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. She had lived in Rose City since 1974, formerly of Detroit. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sewing, crocheting, baking, cooking, gardening, and bird watching. Sarah is survived by her daughter, Geraldine M. Husk of Redford, grandchildren, Paula M. (Dan) Morin of Canada, Julie A. (Scott) Stey of Poway, CA, Suzanne L. (Richard) Haslip of Woodhaven, Jane M. Mulvoy of Howell and great grandchildren, Nick, Josh, David, Jamie, Crystal, Jason, Emily, and Joe, sister, Gertrude Swink of Connellsville, PA. She was preceded in death by husband, Henry, daughter, Verna, brother, George, and son-in-laws, Joe and Ken. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will be held Tuesday August 16, 2005 from 2-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday August 17, 2005 at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City. Rev. Daniel Stoneback will officate. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday August 18, 2005 at Grandlawn Cemetery in Detroit. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands.
