Sharon Caroline Boots

Sharon Caroline Boots, age 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Alger, MI on Wednesday March 1, 2017. She had lived in Alger since 1998, formerly of Lapeer, MI. Sharon was born on March 4, 1946 in Highland Park, MI to Woodford and Lucille (Popaduch) Browning and was the oldest of 6 children. She married Robert Boots in Madison Heights, MI on September 30, 1977. Sharon was a wonderful cook and the matriarch of the family. Her greatest pride was taking care of her family and home. She was the one that held the family together. Sharon enjoyed campfires, pool parties and spending time with her family.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Robert Boots of Alger, MI; children, Jeff (Bonnie) Boots of Lapeer, MI, Barbara Jefferson of Las Vegas, NV, Elizabeth Rice of Lapeer, MI, Cathy (Aron) Jenner of Lapeer, MI, and Jennifer (Rob) Reid of Clarkston, MI; 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; siblings, Michael, Rachel, Deborah, Kevin and Timothy; and several cherished friends and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Gabrielle.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5:00 p.m.
