Steven Michael Taylor

Steven Michael Taylor, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 7, 2016 in Highland Township, MI. He had lived in Lake City, MI since 2015 formerly of Madison Heights, MI. Steven was born on May 4, 1965 in Royal Oak, MI to Larry Taylor and Catherine (Todd) Robinson. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a proud member of the NRA and Teamsters Local #247. Steven enjoyed spending time fixing and tinkering with cars. If there was anything about cars, he was involved. Some of his hobbies were fishing, hunting, kayaking, and traveling. Steven was always entertaining people, whether it was being a DJ or hosting karaoke, he was always having fun with his family and friends. He was a devout Christian and loved his children beyond words.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Jamie Taylor of Southgate, MI; son, Steven Michael Taylor II, of Farmington Hills, MI; mother, Catherine (Bob) Robinson of St. Helen, MI; father, Larry Taylor; sister, Tina (Butch) McLatcher of St. Helen, MI; brothers, Scott Taylor of Beaverton, MI and Jack (Marie) Dillard of Berkley, MI; step brothers, Philip Robinson of FL and Paul Robinson of Flint, MI; nephew, David Svacha II; nieces, Amanda Wallace and Jennifer Svacha; great love, Tish Tibaldo of Lake City, MI; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle, George Todd.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, MI will begin on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
