Susan Diane Reasner

Susan Diane Reasner, age 69, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, February 14, 2021.

Susan was born October 18, 1951 in L’Anse, MI to Robert and Lori (Olkkonen) Lamphier.

Formerly of Lansing, Susan moved to Rose City, MI in 1975. On June 21, 1975 she married the love of her life, Raymond Reasner, and the couple have resided there ever since.

Susan was a dedicated teacher for 32 years. Primarily teaching for the Hale school district. She was a favorite among many students. She also worked as a bookkeeper for R & R Tire of Rose City for 22 years.

Susan was a member of Young Living Loyal, Delta Cappa Gamma and Eastern Stars. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed deer hunting, and going to her place in the U.P.

During Sue’s final journey, she often expressed gratitude for the loving care and kindness she received from both her family and caregivers.

Susan is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Raymond Reasner of Rose City; her mother-in-law, June Reasner of Rose City; sisters-in-law, Susan (Jim) Davidson and Carole (John) Dallas; brother-in-law, Randy (Karen) Reasner all of Rose City; and many nieces and nephews.

Sue is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lamphier, her mother, Lore Bigelow and sister, Jenny Dexter.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice.
