Susan "Susie" Ann Jones

March 1, 1955 — July 31, 2021

Susan (Susie) Ann Jones, age 66, of St. Helen, Michigan passed away peacefully July, 31, 2021 in West Branch, Michigan, surrounded by her family. She was born March 1, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to Kenneth and June Senn. Susie was a darling, imaginative child who grew up to become a supervising orthopedic RN at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. A funny, compassionate and beautiful mother of two, Susie’s happiest times were spent as a nurse at her children’s school, where she also served as PTO president. Susan was a creative and artistic individual who enjoyed art, music, and was active in community theater for many years in Florida. She loved gardening, trips to Mackinac Island (she visited regularly since childhood), trivia dates with her husband of 28 years, and boating on Lake St Helen. Whether donating to rescue stranded donkeys, or refilling her bird feeder four times a day, Susie loved and cared for animals all her life. But above all, she loved being with her family. She will be missed beyond measure.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband, Alan; her children, Katie (Wesley) and Joe (Lauren); her four grandchildren, Joey, Ian, Ena, and Owen (World’s Best Gammy!); and her two beloved pups, Teddy and Molly.

Preceded in death by parents June and Kenny; aunts Marilyn, Verna, and Pat; cousin Greg, and most adored dog, Sammy.
As per her wishes, Susan would like her friends and family to remember and celebrate her life in whatever way helps them most.
