TEDDY PINSON – Age 61 Born: February 20, 1947, in Wyandotte, Michigan Died: April 8, 2008, in Gladwin, Michigan He was preceded in death by his father, Malcomb Pinson; his mother, Zella Adkins-Pinson-Calhoun; his Grandparents- Robert Tee and Fanny Adkins: his 1st wife, Mary Jane (Weise) Pinson; 3 baby sisters: Uvon, Normaleen, and Darlene Adkins; 2 older sisters: Cinderella Towry and Fannie Jean Zgrzemski; and 2 older brothers: Robert James and Thomas Edward Adkins. Ted is survived by 3 children: Patricia Ann & husband Eric, Hovdet; Diane Carol Woods; and Ted William Pinson, Jr.; 3 brothers: Mack Jr., and wife, Sue, Pinson; Clifford Lee Adkins,; and Jasper Clinton and wife, Judy, Adkins; 2 sisters: Phyllis Sue Dale Rawls-Towry; and Glema and husband, Kurt, Brandemihl; 4 grandchildren: Robert T. and Victoria Elizabeth Pinson, Lena Kate Woods; and Mary Elizabeth Hovdet; plus 16 nieces and nephews. Ted enjoyed many things, he loved to play his musical instruments, and he was blessed with being able to play any instrument he picked up. He loved to pilot his own plane and ride his scooter down the roads. In later years one of his greatest joys was traveling in his motor home, visiting family and friends, while seeing all the wonderful sites. He was gifted with the ability for mechanical and electrical work. Everyone he met loved him and his smile brightened a room. Ted’s greatest joy in life was his kids and his grand kids. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m.
