Thomas R. Collins

Thomas Ray Collins, age 75 of West Branch, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Tom was born October 18, 1932 to Irum and Bessie (Moore) Collins. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 and was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Linwood. Tom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Collins of West Branch, children, Linda (Brian) Mills, Tom Collins, Terry (Kelli) Collins, grandchildren, Bradley Mills, Kendi Mills, April (Mike) Legut, Tim (Brooke) Collins, Travis (Mandy) Collins, Tiana (James Wangler) Collins and his great-grandchildren, Lauren and Logan Mills, Madisyn Brager, Carson Legut, Trace Collins, Taylin Collins and Keara Wangler. Also surviving is his brother, Richard (Carol) Collins of Midland. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy, his parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. The Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate.
