Timothy John Laviolette

Timothy John LaViolette, age 68, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 in West Branch, MI. He had lived in West Branch since 1986, formerly of West Bloomfield, MI. Tim was born in Ferndale, MI on July 8, 1946 to John and Betty LaViolette. On August 8, 1987 he married Karen Brindley in West Branch. Tim was a retired custodian from the West Branch Rose City Schools. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Karen LaViolette of West Branch; children, Suzette (Thomas Fantozzi) LaViolette of West Branch, Pamela Seres of Prudenville, MI, Larry Seres of West Branch, Clarissa (Steve DeMand) Fritz of Louisville, KY, and Richard Jr. (Pam) Fritz of Washington, MI; grandchildren, Justin, Billy, Emerald, Douglas, Leighlani, Jacob, Jazmin, Joshua, Todd, and David; great grandchildren, Aurora; sisters, Suzanne (Chuck) Kittrell of Maple Grove, MN, Robin Harrison of Prudenville, and Tammy Harrison of CA; and step mother, Shirley LaViolette of Lupton. He is preceded in death by his father, John “Jack” LaViolette, mother, Betty Harrison, and brother, Ronald Shelp.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Horton Township Hall in West Branch with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. and the service at 1:00 p.m. with Veteran Honors. A luncheon will follow the service. High Priest Richard Hamilton will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
