Violet I. Nightingale

March 26, 1920 — September 19, 2004

Mrs. Nightingale, age 84, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. She had lived in West Branch since March of 2004, a former resident of St. Helen for 28 years and a former resident of Lincoln Park for 32 years. She was a member of the Lake St. Helen Baptist Church, the CCC Auxiliary and with her husband William was the past King and Queen of the St. Helen Blue Gill Festival. Mrs. Nightingale is survived by her husband William of West Branch, children--Loretta (Jack) Kramer of West Branch, William Nightingale Jr. of Woodhaven, Robert (Patsy) Nightingale of Roscommon, Ronald (Diane) Nightingale of Carlton, Dolores (William) Ferrill of Redford, David (Kathleen) Nightingale of Jonesborough, TN, Timothy (Donna) Nightingale of Vero Beach, FL, Kathleen Nightingale of Taylor and Keith (Diane) Nightingale of Kemper TX. 31 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a sister Edith Harper of Lakeland, FL also survive. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday September 21, 2004 from 2-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Mortenson will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch or to the American Heart Association.
