Violet J. Cosand

Violet J. Cosand, age 92, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at her home. She had lived in Lupton for most of her life. She was a member of the Lupton Friends Church and she served as the Rose Township treasurer for 20 years. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Violet is survived by her daughters, Patricia Archer of Fort Walton Beach, FL., Janice (Jim) Card of Shepherd and Sharon Bell (Frank Fasbender) of Lupton, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren and her brother-in-law Alfred Cosand of Roseville. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 1977. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 2-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Chaplain Sharon Koenitzer will officiate with burial following at Lane Heights Cemetery in Lupton. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice Advantage.
