Annastaisia Elizabeth Sue Kay Hartwell, a precious little miracle, was born on January 30, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan. She gently graced the world for a short time before passing away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Lupton, Michigan.
Annastaisia is survived by her loving family, her mother, Scarlette Marx, and her father, Trevor Hartwell; her grandmas, Ashley Marx, Sarah Savicke, and Carrie Hartwell, along with her grandpas, Richard Marx, Derek Grush-Kinder, and Ronald Hartwell. Annastaisia was surrounded by the warmth of her great grandmas, Debbie Hall-Marx, Cathrine Beckner, and Joyce Taylor, and great grandpas, Dennis Beckner, Dave Newsome Jr., and Larry Taylor. Her legacy continues with her great great grandma, Norma Beckner.
She is also lovingly remembered by her aunts, Saraphine Marx, Sapphira Marx, Montana Vanmeter and Kaylee Chamberlain, great aunts, Dannielle Hall, Christina Beckner, Jenny Wright Hall, Laura Dotson, and Jean Coasta, as well as her uncles, Jake Scott, Michael Vanmeter, Terry Cronkright and great uncles Chuck Hall, John Hall and Mike Coasta, and second cousins, James Hall and Mia Hall. Annastaisia was also embraced by her God mothers, Ann Stroub and Elizabeth Herr, and her God fathers, Danny Mathews and Galen Knopek.
She is preceded in death by her great grandpa, James Marx, and great great grandmas, Gladys Marx and Doris Hartwell.
Though her time with us was brief, the joy and love she brought into the lives of her family will forever be cherished.
Annastaisia's memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her.
A memorial visitation will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Oscoda, MI.
