Brad Lee Nichols, age 32, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Mio, MI from injuries he sustained in an ORV accident. He was born on June 30, 1988 in West Branch and lived in Mio his whole life.
Brad attended Mio AuSable High School and worked as a mechanic for Timberline Logging in Gaylord. He had worked at the scrap yard in Mio, as an equipment operator, and was a talented welder. He was the type of person that could fix anything. Brad enjoyed riding dirt bikes, ATV’s, snowmobiling, 4X4’s, being outdoors and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Brad is survived by his mother, Lisa (Ray) Schanck; his wife, Tifani Nichols; children, Hunter Bradley, Payton Marie, and Bryson Lee; siblings, Cody Fowler, Dustin Schanck, Nicole Knepp, and Desiree Knepp; nephews, Blake, Connor, Keiden, Dominic, Ethan, Logan, and Maxton; niece, Knovalee; maternal grandmothers, Barbra Fowler and Martha Beek; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sheena Marie Nichols and grandfathers, Ernest Fowler, Clayton Bugg and Chuck Beek.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A private family service will be held.
Visitation will be held with precautions, due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
