Brian Joseph Evans

Brian Joseph Evans, age 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2025, at his home in Rose City, MI. He was born on January 19, 1955, in West Branch, MI to Emery and Donna (Greene) Evans.

Brian graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 1973 and worked as a journeyman carpenter for most of his life. He built and remodeled many houses over the years. He enjoyed woodworking and working on construction projects.

Brian was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Holy Family Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie (nee, Bernard) Evans; daughter Brianna Brookshire; son Brian Evans Jr.; grandchildren, Sophia, Bella, Amelia, Brooke, and Bethany; and his wonderful friends, Jeff Gates, Brad Goschke, Brent Goschke, and James Oswald.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
