Brian Robert Hush, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch, MI, leaving behind a deep sense of loss for all who knew and loved him. He was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and genuine connection to those around him. Brian was born on November 26, 1956, in Detroit, MI to George and Barbara (Johnson) Hush.
Brian made his home in West Branch, Michigan, where he built a life rooted in hard work and relationships. As a car salesman at Hodges, he was known not just for his dedication, but for his kindness and the way he treated people—with honesty, warmth, and respect. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, like they mattered.
Music was a part of who Brian was. As a drummer, he found joy and freedom behind the kit, playing in a band with Jeff and Sue Hanaford. Those moments weren’t just about music—they were about friendship, passion, and doing what he loved.
Brian was also proud of his connection to the family-owned bar, Hush’s 3 Kegs—a place filled with stories, laughter, and community. It was more than just a bar; it was a reflection of the life he lived and the people he brought together.
He found his greatest peace in the outdoors. Fishing trips, camping, and quiet time surrounded by nature were some of the moments he cherished most. Sitting by the water or around a fire, laughing with friends, those were the times when Brian was truly himself.
He loved being with his friends—sharing stories, joking, and creating memories that will now be treasured forever. Whether it was a simple day out or a night at the casino, Brian lived in the moment and made the most of it.
Brian will be remembered for his big heart, his easygoing spirit, and the way he made people feel seen and valued. His laughter, his strength, and his presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Though he is gone, the love he gave, the music he played, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and friends always.
Brian is survived by his sons, Ryan (Karen) Hush and Justin (Stephanie Globke) Hush; grandchildren, Kameron, Emily, James, and Alyssa; great grandchildren, identical twins Carson and Dean; and several loving nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara and brother, George Gregory Hush.
Service details will be shared by the family at a later time.
