Christine Marie (Miller) Neubecker, age 72, of West Branch, Michigan, passed away on December 4, 2025. Born in West Branch on December 28, 1952, Chris grew up in Prescott, MI, where she graduated from Whittemore-Prescott High School in 1971. She spent her early working years caring for others, both in a nursing home and later as an aide in a school. Her gentle heart, steady patience, and warm spirit shone through everything she did.
Chris married the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Neubecker, and together they built a family grounded in love, loyalty, and laughter. She was a devoted mother to Joel (Kristy) Neubecker of West Branch and Jared (Patty) Neubecker of Thompsonville, MI, and the proud grandmother of Tatum (Isaac) Devine, Kirsten Neubecker, Hunter Neubecker, and Rylie Neubecker—each of whom brought her immense joy.
She is survived by her siblings Brad Miller of Prescott, MI, and Julie (Joe) Weber of Hale, MI; her sisters-in-law Helen (Leonard) Bragg, Wanda Neubecker, and Bernice Drensky; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pat (Dority) Miller; her father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Frances Neubecker; her brother, Butch Miller; sister-in-law Joyce (Phil) Fultz; brothers-in-law George Drensky and Patrick (Jean) Neubecker, and her goddaughter Rayanne Drensky.
Anyone who knew Chris knew her passions well—she loved finding the good deals, thrift shopping, and was an avid fan of Coca-Cola and the Detroit Red Wings. She had a soft spot for animals and a big heart for people, especially her family and friends. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, which she embraced wholeheartedly. She loved giving gifts and seeing the happiness they brought to others. Generosity was simply part of who she was.
Chris’s warmth, humor, and kindness made her easy to love and impossible to forget. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, joy, and the simple, meaningful moments that come from loving others well.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at The Villa of Rose City and Compassus for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided.
A private gathering of immediate family will be held to honor her life.
