Connie Faye (Boller) Clouse, passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2025, at the age of 72. Connie was born on February 24, 1953, as an only child, to George “Jake” and Mertie (Owens) Boller in Lafayette, Indiana. When she was only 17, she met Dave Clouse, who was the love of her life, and they were married on April 3, 1971. They were together for 54 loving years. They were married for 14 years before their only daughter Alissa was born, and she was the highlight of their lives.
She was taught to be a hard worker at a young age and had many jobs throughout her life that she put her all into. Connie had a love for all animals, especially dogs, and now she is reunited at the Rainbow Bridge by all the dogs she ever loved. She enjoyed the occasional margarita and although she was self-proclaimed as shy, once she got going, she would mumble your ear off. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and had a big heart and a kind soul.
She is survived by her husband, Dave, her daughter Alissa (Matt) and her newly adopted dog Charlie, who she lovingly referred to as her foster fail.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father as well as many family members that were there to welcome her with open arms.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Claws and Paws Rescue in Connie’s memory. Connie and Dave have fostered dogs for this rescue and even adopted a couple.
A Celebration of life will be planned for a later date for friends and family.
Arrangements were handled by Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. www.steuernolmclaren.com
