Corey Ann Conrady, age 40, of St. Helen, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in Traverse City, Michigan. She was born on Monday, September 2, 1985, in Grayling, Michigan, and lived a life marked by love, kindness, and a warm presence that touched many in her community.
Corey was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her longtime love of 25 years, Richard Conrady of St. Helen; her three cherished daughters, Zoey Marie, Paizley Faye, and Phoebe Lynn; her parents, Douglas and Christina (Guerincy) Kregear of St. Helen; her sister, Ahren Lee (Robert Fournier) Kregear of South Branch; and her nephew, Carter Douglas Fournier. She is also survived by devoted in-laws and extended family, including 2 brothers-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law, mother and father-in-law and twelve nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts. She was preceeded in death by her grandparents.
Corey attended Roscommon High School and last worked as a bartender at The Firehouse in St. Helen. Through her work, she became a familiar and welcoming face to many in the area. She was known throughout the St. Helen community for her friendly nature and her ability to make others feel comfortable and valued. Her presence left a lasting impression on those who knew her, and she will be remembered as someone who brought warmth and kindness wherever she went.
Outside of work, Corey found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She loved camping, going for walks, spending time in nature, and visiting waterfalls. She also enjoyed rock collecting and found happiness in creative art projects with her children. These moments reflected the gentle and caring spirit that defined her life. Above all else, Corey loved her children and her family deeply, and that love was evident in the way she lived each day.
Corey's bubbly laughter, her strong hugs, her kindness, and her Cheshire grin will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family and friends will forever hold close the many moments they shared with her.
A Celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on June 7, 2026 at the American Legion Hall 10062 Ford Dr St. Helen, Mi 48656. Those wishing to help the family please consider her go fund me to assist the family during this difficult time.
