Dallas A. Wangler

Dallas A. Wangler, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at The Villa at West Branch. He was born on December 17, 1935, in West Branch to Albert and Veronica (Brindley) Wangler. He lived in West Branch all his life.


Dallas was a hard worker and dedicated farmer throughout his entire life. He found joy in going to Big Boy, where he made a special friendship with Paula and April. Dallas was a member of the Knights of Columbus #2022 and St. Joseph Catholic Church.


In his free time, he enjoyed snowmobiling, racing, playing hockey, and cutting wood. He had a zest for life and pursued his hobbies with enthusiasm.


Dallas will be deeply missed by his sister, Helen Snyder of Lupton, MI, and his brother-in-law, Duane Withey of Flint, MI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend Gary Benjamin.


He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Phronia Wangler, siblings Bernard, Jacquline, and Mary Lou.


A private funeral service will be held, and burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate the ceremony.


Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
