Doris M. Bartels

Doris M. Bartels, age 80, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. She has lived in Rose City, MI for all her life. Doris was born to Albert and Marion (White) Bartels in Rose City, MI on September 5, 1933. She loved embroidery and rose bushes. Doris is survived by her daughter: Carrie (Charles) Morey of Rose City, MI; grandchildren: Charles (Wanita) Morey III, Jennifer (Scott) Chartier, Barbara (Alex) Berg; and great grandchildren: Jacob, Samantha, and Michael Chartier. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister: Crystal Fox; and brothers: Donald Bartels and Clare “Buckshot” Bartels. Visitation at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Rose City, MI will begin on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. Arrangements were handled by Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City, MI.
