Francis Edmund Coryell

Francis Edmund Coryell, known to many as Frank or simply Fran, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in West Branch, Michigan, with his wife by his side. He was born on Sunday, December 22, 1968, in Sandusky, Michigan.

Fran graduated from Standish Sterling High School in 1987. He devoted many years to working as a meat cutter at Glen's and Family Fare in West Branch, MI. He had a true passion for his work, especially enjoying processing meat, smoking meat, and grilling for family and friends. These hobbies brought him joy and created many wonderful moments shared with those he loved.

Those who knew Fran remember him as a fun and loving person who truly enjoyed life. He cherished time spent with his family and looked forward to the many family reunions throughout the years. His warmth and spirited nature made him a source of happiness for all around him.

Fran’s family will deeply feel his absence. He is survived by his wife, Heather Coryell, and their sons, Ian and Seth Coryell. He also leaves behind four brothers: Hubert, Stan, Jeremy, and Damon, as well as three sisters: Lucille, Joanna, and Holly. His father, Hubert Coryell Sr., remains alongside many nieces and nephews who will miss their uncle dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry F. Coryell, and his brother, Art.

Fran's family and friends will always remember his generous spirit and the joy he brought to every gathering. His love for his family and his zest for life made him a remarkable person who will be truly missed by all who knew him.
