Garland "Gabe" Gabriel Jacobs

Garland “Gabe” Gabriel Jacobs, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Huron Woods in Kawkawlin, MI. He was born on April 3, 1940, in Lupton, MI to Isaac and Alice (Blood) Jacobs.

In 1972, Gabe married Connie Miller and together they made their home in Lupton, MI. He was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fixing things, being outdoors, and hunting.

Gabe is survived by his son, Brian (Chase) Hampton-Jacobs and daughter, Brenda (Bob) Roe. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Michael (Samantha) Nichols, Alisha (Jeff) DeWitt, Summer Roe, and Rachel (Jim) VanWarmer, as well as his ten great-grandchildren. Gabe also leaves behind his sister-in-law Jeanette Jacobs and brother-in-law, Charles Miller.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie, his parents, sister Sylvia (Howard) Erskine, brother Lincoln Jacobs, and four brothers in law, Lyle, Dale, Richard, and Calvin Miller.

Gabe's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service and burial of ashes will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Lane Heights Cemetery in Lupton.
